Hi! I see you're in an owners suite. We had one on the Voyager last December. We'll be two deck below you. As of now we're on the bump out, in cabin 8620. I won't know if we'll still be in that cabin until 3 week prior to the cruise date. We have a good chance of being upgraded to a suite as diamond plus members.

I hope we can keep in touch, I've never met anyone from Cruise-Chat yet. Perhaps someone else from C.C. will be going on this cruise.

Thanks, Angel. Are just the two of you going on this cruise, or are some of your friend or family going?

we'll be new grandparents by cruisetime. so, we'll be looking to find the fountain of youth on the cruise!!! how about you? any friends, or family? i'm hoping to have a fun, perhaps wild time......well, in comparison to everyday humdrum anyway. Big Grin

Just my wife and I on this cruise. You certainly will have a lot to celebrate! If you like, I could arrange for seating at the same table. We usually get a round table for 8 or 10 people. On this cruise it wouldn't matter if we had first or second seating. We usually have second seating so we don't get rushed; more time to spend in the concierge lounge.

Second seating it is. Sometime shortly before the final payment is due, I'll need your booking number to verify seating at the same table. After boarding the ship we'll find the assigned table. If we don't like the location, I'll get one we all like. It's another perk for being a diamond plus member. Geez, only 127 more days!

anyone else disappointed about dropping the azcores from the itinerary? seems a little bizarre. i actually chose the trip based on stopping there. of course, it won't spoil the trip.........just thought it odd.

I was really looking forward to that stop. No one seems to have an answer why RCCL canceled it. Six days a sea is a bit much for me. Oh well, at least we will have four other stops before we get to barcelona.

My wife and I are ceriously considering canceling this cruise. The reason is the way RCCL has handled the fuel tax, and the canceling of the Arores without any explanation. They didn't even have the courtesy to inform us. We have until the end of this month to cancel; I'm pretty sure we will.

That is a shame Sonny. you'll have to just replace that cruise with a back to back or maybe a Panama Canal cruise... same number of days, but more interesting ports.

awwww.....SONNY! Frown we are so sorry to hear of your plans to cancel. i gotta tell ya', we were really looking forward to meeting you and your lovely wife. although, it's totally understandable. we have no choice in cancelling, as we have pre-paid so many connecting reservations with this trip. maybe a future cruise will have us at your dinner table! happy sailings, sonny

Angel, I said I was seriously thinking about canceling. There are more suites available than there were before the Azores news. I have a real good chance of getting upgraded. With that thought in mind it might still be going. I have a couple of weeks before the final yes or no.

Hi Angel!

Final payment is due Saturday and I still haven't made a decision. The older I get the harder it is for me to make up my mind. I'll just have to flip a coin.
