Anyone on this trip?

We're a family of 3 (2 adults and our daughter age 9). We're trying to plan excursions and feel totally overwhelmed! The ones through NCL seem expensive. Is anyone booking any private tours or have any suggestions?

We'll be in Barcelona for 2 days before departure and have found a fairly good deal through roomsnet.com (Hotel Jazz).

We've cruised on Royal Caribbean and Disney, but this is our first NCL. We can't wait!

Hi UK2ATL, My husband and I joined by our 2 daughters will be going on this cruise in Oct. We have also cruised before but this being our first with NCL freestyle. PLEASE LET US KNOW how this owent for you. As far as the tours go. My husband works with alot of men who have been to Europe many times. ALL SAY that these ship tours are very expensive compared to what you can pull off on your own. BUT for first timers you need to be real comfortable in hectic situations to do it on your own especially in
Rome. Malta seems very easy to handle. You might want to choose and pick which to venture on your own with and others to keep organized through NCL. We think we are trying Malta and Florence and Barcelona ourselves. Post when you get back!!
