I am a first time cruiser in wheelchair. I am very nervous about going on this cruise in March 2007 to the Western Caribbean. Is there shore excursions that are safe, and handicap accessible? who do you contact to find these excursion. I have searched online, about not found much ..please ease my mind.

Have you talked with your TA? I am sure they will be able to answer all your questions. Have you already booked the cruise? If not, then talk to a qualified Cruise Agent to help you with your booking and excursions.

I cruised recently on the Grandeur of the Seas with my girlfriends disabled mother. RCL was well prepared to provide assistance wherver we were, including on shore and at the line's private island. The stateroom was supersized. I will never hesitate to travel with a disabled on RCL-I cannot speak for the other lines as I have not traveled on them accompanied by a handicapped party as yet!
