My wife and I along with 4 other family members will be cruising in Nov on Jewel of The Seas. Ports of call are Labadee, Haiti; Cartagena, Columbia; 1 set of locks of Pan Canal then dock at Cristobal Pier; Puerto LImon, Costa Rica; and Georgetown, Grand Cayman. My wife cannot walk for very long stretches of time and she uses a travel scooter which we will be taking with us. Does anyone know of shore excursions at any of the above ports which will allow travel scooters? We are especially interested in the train trip at the Panama Canal that takes you to the Pacific and back. However, we are not sure the train can accomodate a travel scooter or if she could use it at any of the stops made by the train. The scooter does fold down to a compact size. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
