Recently We had to cruise in a balcony cabin with a new travel fixture-A wheelchair! This was something added within a few days of departure and a handicapped cabin was not an available option!

My gal at least has limited ability to move about for short periods of time. We brought a "travel chair" which is a wheelchair with four small wheels.

No problemo-in fact it was a snap! Where there were problems (which were remarkably few) the crew assistance was better than fantastic!

Full access to any and all activities was had! The cruiseline had no advance notice! The newer ships handle the wheelchairs without blinking an eye!

Bon Voyage,

BillyBuzzy
