My guy has a BK left leg amputation. Going into the water from the shore is impossible - (how do you hop on the sand). I wish cruise lines would always make it clear if snorkeling will be from shore or from the boat. Half the time there is no info in the description and of course when you call the cruies line direct the answer is always "We don't have any information" Thanks for letting me vent. Big Grin

hi seethe. recently i did investigating on-line trying to find the actual shore excursion host since RCCL was absolutely NO HELP when i asked about a weight restriction. i did an internet search on the name of the boat they listed in the excursion booklet and turns out for bermuda the snorkeling host was Fantasea and they helped me directly, but i booked thru RCCL so my tix would be delivered to my room. best of luck. clo

We are cruising to the Mexican Riviera in October on Sapphire Princess. Going snorkeling in Cabo. The description on the excursion actually included the words "snorkeling will be from the boat" So now he's happy but I'm nervous. (Last time we snokeled you had to jump off the side of the boat. It was a long way down for a chicken-heart like me.)

not to worry, i've heard most boats that you snorkel from have a small ladder with 2-3 steps that you can step down into the water. have fun. clo
