Does anyone have any experience with either of these ships as far as the handicapped cabins and acessability around the ship? I have a power chair or scooter that I travel with. I never cruised with MSC before.

Hi dr,
welcome to cruisechat.com. Hope, you will find all the information you want for your cruise.
MSC cruises announces on their homepage:
"The Company supports the right of persons with disabilities to travel onboard its vessels. Please contact us for further details."

MSC Opera has five cabins for disabled persons: # 10018 (Turandot deck); 9052, 9053 and 9155 (Norma deck) and 8142 (La Traviata deck). Click here for the deck plans. Than select a deck above right (e.g. NORMA)and look for the position of the cabin. All cabins are inside cabins mit 226 squarefeet.

Have a nice cruise
Uwe
