All right... this should challenge everyone from the newbies to the seasoned gurus. See what level you can make it to in this little game.

I've done several of their quizes and do pretty well with North America, World and Europe. Ok on South/Central America. The flag one is beyond me and I struggle with Asia and Africa. World capitols and landmarks are tough too.

It's fun to take and educational. I go back to this site from time to time to bone up on my geography.

Cheers, Neil

I just re-took the one you posted and passed level 7 but failed miserably on level 8. As soon as it had the parenthesis (Hard) I knew I was in trouble.

I am afraid that I keep getting stymied by level 10... I keep trying but that seems to be my limit.

Wow, if you get to level 10 you're doing amazingly well! I can clear all the levels on some of the challenges but not the one you posted. Congrats on your world knowledge!

Cheers, Neil

I got to Level 8. I need to review a couple of continents! Thanks for the link... this will be addictive, but I like it.

Happy cruising,

I like the little blurbs that appear when you answer. When I really miss one badly it says something like "This is the earth, you know that right?"

Every time I think that I am doing good, they throw in Easter Island or East Timor to throw me off. Then there's Australia. You can be in the right country and still be 3000 miles off the mark.

What a challenge! I love geography, but I didn't do very good on some of those questions. I have to keep trying. Like TrvlPro said, it's addictive!

Well, I got over 375,000 points and my "travel IQ" is 113, but I am still unable to pass level 10. They start asking for obscure cities in and around Africa.

That was great fun. I didn't do all that well as I panic under the timer. But I will play again. Thanks

First game, level 6, 188.989 points, 93 traveler IQ, "OK, we're impressed, good job".

They asked me for a monument in Canada I haven't yet got what it was ... and obviously I pointed miles and miles away Roll Eyes

A large computer screen apparently is a good idea with the game. I've been playing it on my MacBook and the 13 inch screen isn't getting it!

Hmmm, I guess not. It looks the same on my 20" widescreen as it does on the laptop.
