Any thoughts on a good Christmas gift for my dancing daughter. She dances with Carnival and thus has very little personal space on the ship and of course anything I send her either needs to be left or carried back with her at the end of the contract. Since I know she left with 2 50 pound suitcases there is not much room to carry anything back. Hence the delima.

Thats getting more creative. Thanks, Any thoughts on creative ways to give money?
How about an MP3 player that will also handle photo. If she is a dancer she has to love music, plus you can put a few family photos on it for her to look at.
Creative ways to send money....One year an employee at a Christmas party got $20 worth of scratch lotto tickets and gave that away as her Christmas gift...I really wanted that gift too. Oh well.

This is an interesting conceept. For years I have done stocking stuffers with scratch tickets. These would need to be redeemable in San Juan, Anyone familiar with lotto tickets to know a national (US) lottery ticket that could cash in San Juan? Or perhaps I could enlist a fellow cast member to buy some in San Juan for me.
Now a interesting way to get them to her...
The cruise Director might hide them around her cabin and make-up room, crew bar, Disco longe etc. Or maybe a treasure hunt. What else?
Tell me more about a digital picture frame. I've never heard of it. Is it a frame you assemble with your digits perhaps?
That's a great idea. It is a photo frame but it will display a slideshow of photos that you have loaded into it from a digital camera. I have looked at them in the stores and I'm about to add that to my Santa Claus wish list. Here's a link for you to look at them.
Another small gift, yet really nice might be a calendar made with pictures of home and family. Another idea might be a gift certificate for the Hard Rock Cafe. I know the ship's food is good, but she may want something different from time to time. They are listed to work in San Juan, here is a link.
Good luck,
Dwayne

Yes, I created a flyer detailing my search for a Christmas present, it has photos of me running and my wife and I in our band uniforms. Some other photos for fun. It concludes that a gift cert for Hard Rock is good but that maybe she has a better place but where they might only speak spanish. So the gift is a money deposit to her bank account to cover a nice lunch and a small Spanish Phrase book she can carry in her purse.
I took the photo idea and the Hard Rock Cafe idea and blended them. I did give credit to cruise chat in the flyer
