Since I won't be computer accessible tomorrow (I'm cooking), I want to take the opportunity to wish the Cruise-Chat family a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. If you are going over the river or through the woods or even just staying home - enjoy, relax and don't overeat. Give thanks for your blessings (congrats MiketheKid) and reflect on how lucky we all are to be able to indulge in our cruises. You're all a great group and it's been a treat to be able to know you all - if only on-line.
As my mother would have said: "you are a good soul". Thank you for your post of good cheer, and thank you for thinking of our forum family. I can definitely say that I've enjoyed reading your thoughtful posts over the past many years, and look forward to many more.
...my personal best wishes to you and yours as you enjoy the good times of fellowship and family!
Thank you so much. Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone else! But I have to disagree... Only 1 time a year it comes around... go ahead and stuff yourself - we are!!!
Thank you for the kind words. This is a time for all of us to reflect on the many blessings that have been bestowed on us. As cruisers we are afforded the rare opportunity to see parts of the world that many others will only be able to visit via National Geographic. Take time to consider the less fortunate people in our society. Find a charitable organization in your community and use a share of your prosperity to help another fellow human enjoy this wonderful holiday season. As we have been blessed, so should others. That being said, enjoy watching the balloons float down 42nd Street and don't get do drowsy from trytophan. Happy Thanksgiving!!
