Thanks for the heads up- I see there's a shuttle launching in 11 hours. I've never saw the glow from a launch but I have to get myself up at 2:20 for a quick peek. Hopefully it'll be clear enough- it's a little cloudy right now & we're 150 miles away.

At a hundred and fifty miles, you should have a good opportunity to see launch..

As you know by now the shuttle did launce this morning & I did get up at 2:20 to try & get a glimpse of the glow with no luck. Here in Cape Coral it was overcast, no stars, with a fine mist of rain. Oh well, I can always listen for the return at the end of the month. One of these days I'd like to get up to Cape Canaveral to see one launch.
