2008 marks the 100th aniversary of LeRoy Andeson. This is the composer who wrote Sleigh Ride, Bugler's Holiday, Fiddle Faddle, Typewriter (which you may remember from Jerry Lewis Who's Minding the Store), and Sandpaper Ballet, and lots of other music. Wrote a lot of things for the Boston Pops. Many local bands are doing tributes to this great composer. Go to leroyanderson.com to see where they are in your state.
