Here's a pretty little blue domed steeple in Santorini:

Santorini only has a population of 10,000 so this is what happens when several cruise ships show up at the same time:

As far as where the 10,000 inhabitants live, apparently, they build little houses clinging to a shear cliff.

Which ship were you on? More passengers than inhabitants that day!

dr,
What was your overall impression of Santorini? What time of year did you go?
We were looking into a cruise to Greece and I'm curious as to what you thought.

Thanks.

A'ndrea, it is my favorite port in the world. Wonderful people and incredible scenery. Just rent a car for 25 euros a day and hit the road. So much to see... so little time.

And it is a loooong walk from the old port of Fira to the top of the mountain. (take a donkey or cable car)

A'ndrea, I have been there a few times and I usually try to go around March-May. It's not too hot during those months. These pictures that I posted were from May of this year on the Legend of the Seas.

It is very beautiful!! OK, I have been posting scenery but this one is humorous... This is our 74 year old tour guide in Pompeii telling us to be back at the bus in one hour. For some reason, I just had my camera ready.

Do you want the truth or the lie?

The lie would be that it was taken outside our hotel room on St. Thomas. The truth would be that it's in the backyard of a guy that I "supervise."

Well, regardless of where it was taken, it's a great shot.
