Right now I'm using a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P73. It is only 4.1 megapixels and only a 3x zoom. So, you really don't need a good camera to take good shots. I'm looking at a Canon S5IS or Sony Cybershot H9 for my next camera (it's on my Christmas wish list). Really the trick for me is to crop the pictures and do the auto correct to enhance the colors. I have to admit that the 2 ship pictures I posted for Greyson were not my pictures (but I was told I could use them). I don't want to take credit for the two that aren't mine, especially if those are the ones that you are talking about as being great pictures. All the other pictures are definitely mine.

I used to love going to Lake Tahoe. I even remember going up their when my uncle from Alaska came down and participated in the dog sled races there. I wonder if they still have them there. Thanks for sharing. It isn't often I miss living in California, but I do miss the coast and the Sierra Nevadas.

Greyson, I'll have to check with my sister-in-law to see if they still have dog sled races there. That picture was taken in August of 2004 when the lake was extremely low. We tried to go river rafting but the rivers were so low we would have had to carry our rafts half of the time!

Okay, I'm feeling guilty about the ship photos. (I just wanted something nice for Greyson!) So here is one that I did take, not quite as spectacular, but all mine and taken from our balcony. Cruising Tracy Arm Fjord.
Ok, this is my first time doing this. Hopefully if it works out you will see the Old Lighthouse on the tip of Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas. This is what I saw while onboard the Carnival Glory while departing Nassau:
Frase, Webshots has gotten harder to post. Your first picture was at 100 pixels. In the link to this picture box is where your find your pixel size, it automatically defaults to 100, so just click on 600, and when you copy the code into cruise-chat make sure it starts with: [URL] and ends with the second [URL] to capture the full link.
This is a picture from Pacific Grove, California. This is at 600 pixels.
This is at 100 pixels, which is how your picture showed up.

Ok, here I go again. This is The Old Lighthouse on the tip of Paradise Island/Nassau, Bahamas. I took this shot while onboard the Carnival Glory while it was leaving Nassau:
