Frase, the White Pass Railway is in Skagway, Alaska, it takes the same path the miners took (the the illegal young people, HA HA) to mine for gold. It is a very beautiful trip.

Hi Frase, and thanks. I'm an amateur, with pretty basic equipment. Those were taken with a Nikon Cool Pic 4800 ED. It's got an 8X zoom and I don't recall the pixels (what the heck is a pixel, anyway?). I bought it the week before we went to Alaska in 7/05; I've been pretty happy with it, but I think I might be ready to step up to the next level...
I agree with Ken; put them up. Pictures of places and people are great.
Anybody have any suggestions on the next step up on digitial cameras?

This is our fearless excursion leader for our snorkel excursion in Cozumel last year after a few too many cervezas. Some of the ship's crew started throwing muffins at him to wake him up.
