I filled up last night at Wal-Mart $3.29/gal. Does anyone know how many gallons of gas they produce from one barrel of oil?

I posted a chart like this one last year in some thread on another forum. To answer your question, about 20-22 gallons of gasoline comes from each barrel of crude (which is 42 gallons before processing gain).

So I guess we will be seeing over $5/gal. soon. Crude closed at $109+ yesterday, yuck!

Paid $ 3.05 at the pump yesterday. Wondering how high it has to get before environmental lobby says okay to drilling in Anwar. Everyone has their price.

It's sounds like a bargain. Here in South Florida it's $3.39 to $3.35 for regular.

How about $3.55 in Costa Mesa?

I refuse to let gas prices get to me this time—there's just too many other depressing topics to dwell on.

We paid $3.70 something in Hawaii last Dec. I wonder how much it's increased since then?

Friend of mine in Vienna are paying around $ 7.00 a gallon. I still wonder how high it has to get before those who oppose drilling give the nod. Rhetorical qestion I guess

When a topic gets side tracked (thread drift), a warning may be issued to get the topic back on track. If not, the thread could be closed. However, a warning is a courtesy, not an obligation.

We have $3.11 at the Raceway station at the I-65 interchange, but the 93 octane I need for my VW is $3.34 - and that is cut with 10% ethanol.

My closest station is the Texaco a mile down the road - where it is $3.24 for regular and $3.44 for premium.

I filled at Wal-Mart last night $3.29/gal for 93 octane. I use my Wal-Mart card and receive a .03 cent a gallon rebate on my bill.

Gas is now $3.50 this is getting crazy!!!!!!!!!

Ours went up another 10 cents in North Texas...now $3.29 for regular unleaded. This is making mowing lawns and running that weed eater pretty expensive! Maybe I will get a goat..lol!

It actually went down at the Wal-Mart, last night I filled up $3.22/gal. for high test. You're right Rodney, we've 3 acres to mow. I think goats would be cheaper. Maybe I could harness the suckers and have them pull me to work. It's only 40 miles one way.
