Today's price (3-4-08)for regular here in SW Florida was $3.15 (Wal-Mart) but there aren't that many at that price. Most stations are around $3.25 for regular.

That's better than here in Alabama and much better than the east coast of Florida. We were down in Ft. Lauderdale in January and it was over that then.

Hi Rodney. I am in Southern Calif and payed $3.45 yesterday. Check this for prices in US. Not always actual, as prices change fast, but will give you an idea.

$3.42 for 93 octane today in Athens, AL. Good ol' high performance VW V6 in the R32. Worth the price though - nothing like the R32 rush.

It's running $3.15 here in Detroit. I swear, I'm burning through about $15 bucks in gas every two weeks, it's killin' me!

What do you drive? A mo-ped?

How about $45-$50 a week in Southern California!

Yea Mark - It cost me almost $10 to fill up the other day. I'd hate to have to fill up the car.

A Prius, although a Mo-Ped sounds like fun!

I've flirted with looking at those European scooter things too. That seems like it would be a blast just for bombing around town.

No question, abstinence is the single best way to avoid the high cost of fossil fuels.

Not sure why I would be concerned that there would be anything wrong with my dipstick, but oh well ... will do!

Shall I report back?
