Interesting choice, from the "oh you mean they aren't extinct?" category.

I have to agree with Penny. The tiger is my favorite. They are so beautiful and sleek.

In the "ahhhhh" department, I would go with the gorilla or orangutan (I think I spelled that right!). Videos of them with their young show them to be so loving. It scares me that they are endangered.

I wouldn't last five minutes in the wild. I'd be all over the cats, wanting to kiss 'em and hug 'em, "oh what a SWEET face!" and they would chomp my head right off. Lions, tigers, leopards, whatever, it would be goodbye doulabug.

a few years ago I was fortunate to be in the Kruger National Park in South Africa for about 8 days,.....had a few sightings of lions but the most remarkable was when I was in an open landrover and saw about five lions less than 4 feet away.....could almost have touched them.Something I won't forget in a hurry.

I loved seeing the giraffes in the zoo. I fell in love with their big pretty eyes, their knobby antennas and big huge bodies. I can't wait to take my little boy to see them too.
