Last Tuesday (May 5) my dancing daughter's boyfriend, the senior tech, called to ask for my daughters hand in marriage. He described how he was to propose on Mother's day. He is a fine man and they will make a good match. I needed to keep it secret until then, including my routine phone call with her that afternoon. It was all worth it. She called back after dinner in San Juan and I could hear it in her voice how happy she was. I turned the phone over to her mother and the crys of happiness must have been heard all around the small town of Sharon, NH.
They have not shared any details but I will wager they 1 - do not get married on the ship and 2 - the honeymoon will not be a cruise.

happy dance

Congratulations! I agree with you about their not having a cruise involved in the wedding. I once asked a commercial diver if he went diving on vacations. He replied: "Are you crazy? When I'm on vacation I get as far away from water as I can!"

That's a great sign. I wish them both a lifetime of happiness!
