I don't play golf anymore but I like to watch The Masters.
Watching it right now, in fact. How about Gary Player? Still out there for his 51st Masters! And still rail thin and fit.
I get amused by the Tiger talk. Actually, annoyed may be a better word. As I write this, Tiger Woods is 21st on the leader board at one over par. Yet the commentators will no doubt be saying things like "Tiger has slyly set himself up for victory", or "Tiger will make his move in the final round" as though he purposely muffed some shots to lull the other golfers into false confidence.
I do watch some tournaments once in a while. I'm a firm believer that one's golf score should be close to one's bowling average. That way you get your money's worth. I guess that's why they pay the people that shoot so far under par so much money I did see a few of Player's shots, he's still holding his own. I liked Chi Chi, too.

That's funny Dave. Sometimes I think that also about Tiger and the announcers. But now that it is all over it is surprising, and humbling, to see that Tiger placed 2nd. I was very glad to see Gary Player out there, Did you here that the winner met Gary when he was young and had a photo of them together? Nice story

Yes, I saw it and it is one of those heartwarming stories that we all love.
Tiger almost made me eat my words! I don't dare challenge his brilliance, but the media really gets crazy when discussing Mr. Woods. Meanwhile, local boy Stewart Cink had a good showing too
