It is on the "Twenty Years Of Dirt" album. This is an excellent cut of the song. Very clean with sharp mandolin.

Great, thanks Dave. I just downloaded to to my Yahoo Music Jukebox, and am listening to it now. I do love that song. I also downloaded American Dream, I didn't know that was a Nitty Gritty Dirt Band song!

Another thing about American Dream....notice who the woman singer is? It wasn't widely credited in the album.

Linda Ronstadt! I also like one of her songs, Old Paint. It's not well known but I love it. It's on her Simple Dreams album.

Cake -- Short Skirt, Long Jacket

Heard it today and forgot just how cool that song really is. I had to add it to my Ipod.

I like the song on the Geico commercial where the caveman is on the conveyor belt at the airport. That's my kind of music.

psychocruiser,
I must be psychic. Wink I wanted to say something really whacked-out (like the TiVo question) to see what you would say. And I knew you would say "elevator music." I'm learning my way around the Lido Deck. This is fun!

Came across this video on YouTube while I was looking at a someone's favorite vacation video. Not my favorite song in the world, but it is interesting and worth a look 'n listen.

Maybe he can't replicate the hairdoos, but at least Tay can sing without shattering glass. Big Grin

I don't know... Ella Fitzgerald made a pretty good living shattering glass with her voice. ThumbUp

SuzyCruise: I knew you'd come back saying you knew I'd say "elevator music," which is why I really characterize that music as mall music.

I just saw that Chocolate Rain video on YouTube that SuzyCruise just posted. I don't watch American Idol. So....that is Tay Zonday???
His singing reminds me of Sammy Davis Jr. (only with an Indian accent).

That Chocolate Rain song sure is different.

Like I said, I don't watch American Idol. But I discovered one of the A.I. singers that I really, really like. I suppose he competed on the show in the past seasons, but was a runner-up. He should have won IMHO. His name is Elliot Yamin. (Was he from Israel?? It sounds like it).

Anyway, he can REALLY sing. While I was surfing through YouTube, I came across this video of him performing one of my favorite songs (which I listed in a previous post here ). It is titled "Sharing The Night Together" originally recorded by the band Dr. Hook. To see Elliot Yamin's version of the song, click here: Sharing The Night Together by Elliot Yamin
