With all the press about Chrone, lots of people missed the Picasa upgrade/update to 3.0. I have not tried Chrone, but did look at Picasa. It looks good. http://googlephotos.blogspot.com/2008/09/announcing-pic...-new-version-of.html

I just got my bookmarks straightened out using Firefox & don't intend on switching to anything else for a while unless there's some GREAT feature I can't live without. I'd even consider going back to IE If they could get it working at the same speed.

Firefox is a great browser, I use it and IE7. IE is just releasing IE8 as a beta 2. I have had a few issues with Firefox on my new computer when runs Vista 64 bit. I was cleaning up my hard drive and noticed I also had safari on it. I hate it when programs sneak stuff onto your computer!!!!! With that said Firefox is very hard to beat.

I just installed Chrome. I think maybe it does not like my Vista 64 bit.... There are alot of programs and pieces of hardware that join them with that!!!
It is a very clean and simple browser I will say that.

Thanks for heads up - It wouldn't be the first program that doesn't work well with my Vista.

I was using Safari for a while after my IE started to slow down but it's got a few quirks I don't like. It takes 10-15 seconds to first appear when I first open it to my home page & I can't reset my wall paper by right clicking like IE or Firefox.

Rich which Vista do you have. There is a good chance it will work if you do not have the 64 bit verson of Vista. My laptop has the regular verson and has a few problems with programs, but my office computer is Vista 64.... that one is nothing but trouble...

There is a BIG difference in the two. The 64 is a real pain when it comes to software/hardware it wil take.
Shame on Microsoft.
