In addition to this forum, I regularly read/post on two other forums (each related to cooking and kitchen knives - not sure if I will violate TOS by posting them here). There are a few others I check occasionally, but cruise-chat and the two other food forums are my "big 3".
So, aside from cruising forums, where else does everyone spend their internet time?
As for the other forums, I like FoodieForums and KnifeForums (kitchen section). Other websites I tend to visit for fun on a regular basis are Woot, CNN (though their website has been annoying me lately), I-Am-Bored and CollegeHumor. I also like to read up on random topics through Wiki.
I can't get enough of funny/stupid/weird/crazy videos.
I occasionally check out other cruise sites, but not very often.
I LOVE imdb. If you ever want to know anything about anyone you may have seen once 50 years ago in a movie or on tv, that's the place to go. It's addicting.
I love imdb as well. Can spend hours there. It's really addicting.
Other than that I'm a real ship geek and I frequent dusins of other ship forums (not only cruise) like shipspotting.com, captainsvoyage.com and a few norwegian forums.
I've got loads of interest from PC modding, F1 (they race in the rain too)to the movies. On that note and read the rest of the replies "The Life of Brian" tops the "Holy Grail" every time. Always Look on the Bright Side of Life Does it get any better than this.
If you like the Holy Grail, go see Spamalot, the live theatre version. It follows a lot of the movie, but has some extras, including musical numbers, including Bright side of Life.
I too am a fan of the imdb - covers television actors/shows as well.
Well, aside of checking the cruise bulletin boards, newsgroups & email during the day from time to time (we keep the laptop on our kitchen counter) I read the news from various papers daily (top stories only) & have only started to get into scanning my old 35 mm slides which might take me until Christmas to finish which gives me lots of reading time in the early morning while the scanner does its thing. I also use the internet to listen to radio stations whenever I'm in my workshop as there's nothing locally worth listening to. (I pipe the audio to my radio in the garage.) I guess you can say I have an Internet addition.
I spend most of my time on a large horse forum I moderate on, then I also moderate on a truck forum (got roped into that one from the horse forum). Then I am also on a dog forum (a sister forum to the truck and horse). Then I have finally got back on the scuba forum and occasionally hit the mustang (car) forum. Oh then I can't forget the local newspaper, there are a lot of nuts in the town.
