I'm going on a cruise with my family at the end of the year and I was wondering about the drinking policy on Princess cruises. I am 20 and will have my mother and older siblings (who are 22 & 25) with me and I was wondering how easy it would be for me to drink on board? Are they very strict about their 21 and up policy on the ships?

heyhey,

welcome to Cruise-Chat.com.

The rules are strictly enforced. It will not be possible for you to buy alcohol onboard and if "older" travel companions buy you some and you are caught, all of you will be in trouble.

Best regards,

In my experience...if you look and act like an adult...you won't have any problem.

My feeling is more on how the person behaves rather than how old they are. Have a great cruise.

Well, it certainly depends from ship to ship, but I remember sailing with my brother when he was 25 and he constantly had to show a picture ID as proof that he was over the age of 18. And most definitely he didn't look like a teenager back then!
