Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has been married on any of Princesses' Ships.
We are looking at different cruise lines, and wedding reviews seem difficult to find.

Any recommendations or avoidances, would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Christopher

Hello cableguy!!! My name is Jaime and I posted a couple down regarding my wedding on the Coral Princess in Alaska. My fiancé and I started planning a huge wedding in the park with around 150 people. We deposited on the site and the photographer and I was interviewing florists when I just became overwhelmed. The cost was building out of control and with my perfectionist ways I knew that I was going to be too stressed out to even enjoy my wedding! So I canceled everything and booked our wedding with Princess.

I just could not be happier with our decision to get married on a Princess ship. It just could not have been easier! The wedding coordinator (Janice Walsh) sent me a packet where we just checked off what we did and did not want, I sent her a picture of what I want my flowers to look like and we were done! Sooooo easy! The package we chose includes the ceremony, fresh flowers in the chapel, a rose bouquet for me and matching boutonniere for him, music by a live pianist, my hair done in the salon, Mote & Chadon Champaign w/souvenir flutes, a photo package (I don’t even remember how many 5x7 & 8x10 we get), 2 video copies of the ceremony, a souvenir parchment wedding certificate and I think that was it. And the cost was about $1,500.00. Don’t get suckered into buying a reception package, there is sooooo much food available that it’s stupid to pay X amount per person to have canapés. Instead, we made reservations at the Italian restaurant, Sabatini’s (which was our favorite dining experience when we went on the Star in April – totally worth the $15pp cover charge).

Keep in mind that not all ships have weddings onboard, but you can usually get married in one of the ports. I know Janice with Princess only handles the weddings at sea and she would refer you to another company if you wanted to get married in port.

Again, we are very happy with the way things have gone in regards to the planning of our special day. We have a total of 12 people going and that MasterCard commercial keeps coming to mind “having just the people you want at your wedding…PRICELESS”
