I watch THIS cam allot. We are thinking about taking this cruise to Hawaii next year. No white caps on the water but what kind of ride do you think you are getting with these swells?
Looks like some nice swells at the time of this post.

gdjoslin,

I watch this webcam daily as well. Some days are better than others. I am sailing March 12 from LA to Hawaii on the Island Princess, so if you want to check with me then, I will keep you posted. I intend to keep a daily diary as the swells, winds, temps etc. I am sure everything will be fine!

We are leaving a week thurs for Hawaii. I have also been watching the webcam. Todays seas are the worst I have seen. Doesnt look too bad though. We will just have to hope for the best. I have had rough seas in the caribbean so you always take your chances with Mother Nature.

Hi gdjoslin,
I too have been watching this site for almost a year, when I booked my Island Princess cruise for April 26; it's only looked like this a few times in that year.
As Marylu says, you take your chances with Mother Nature--there are no guarantees. But I'd say the odds are with us.

Marylu is right about mother nature! I will look forward to hearing from you when you return from your cruise!
I have been watching the cam for awhile and that is about as rough as I have seen it.
Thanks

Anybody look at the Island Princess webcam this morning? Seas look flatter than a pancake. She is on her way back to Encenada.

That's the way I want it to look when I go in April; not that rough water bothers me, but they tend to close the pools when it's rough.
80 days to go and boy, am I ready!
