HI! I AM NEW TO THE BOARD AND A FIRST TIME CRUISER WITH PRINCESS. I BOOKED AN INSIDE CABIN, CATEGORY JJ MIDSHIP AND ON THE CARIBE DECK. WAS JUST WONDERING IF I SHOULD UPGRADE TO AN OCEANVIEW ON A LOWER DECK-EMERALD. DOES DECK PREFERENCE MATTER FOR NOISE LEVEL? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Hi. I am part of a party of ten, booked on the same cruise leaving in a week. We also have rooms on the Caribe deck, three outside and one inside. For a first time cruiser, I think your room will be fine. You probably won't be spending much time in it, so don't worry.

Have sailed the past two years on the Golden and will again 6/13. Fantasic boat Noise level is about the same on all decks and not bad at all. Inside cabin, well budget and preference is your choice but we will always get a balcony.Great place to have morning coffee, wine and cheese, read, relax, snooze..you get the picture. Have fun
