Hi ya'll. We are booked for Alaska in May on the Star Princess. The prices have gone down and we are looking at doing a Mini-Suite.
My question is this:
If there are only (2) CAT AE Mini-Suites on the ship and you booked a TBA CAT AE Mini-Suite - wouldn't you pretty much be in line for an upgrade to an AD. And if this is the case, why would you pay more and book a TBA CAT AD?
Just wanted to know. Right now we are TBA CAT AD Mini-Suite.
Thanks in advance

Most of the Alaska ships, if not all, travel completely full. So I would think the odds of an upgrade are slim. So if you really want the upgraded suite, I wold get it.

Great idea for the mini-suite. Will make the cruise much more enjoyable.

So to be a TBA Category AD would be on the Emerald Deck. This is exactly what I would like...an aft mini-suite on the Emerald Deck. So I am sticking with my AD.
Thanks!

Chris, if you wish a particular cabin, don't go the guaranteed (or TBA) route. You might end up elsewhere on the ship.

Good choice on the mini-suite, though. ThumbUp
