Hi everyone,
Okay, I'm cruising on the Sapphire Sept. 27th on the Mexican Riviera and was wondering about how the process works for Princess' version of American Idol?

Do they pick a winner each night and then have a finale the last evening? Any info would be greatly appreciated...btw, I'm a pretty good singer but too old for American Idol (44 y.o.) happy dance

And do they give any prizes, if so, what do they give???? Thanks!

"Princess Pop Star"; lots of fun; we love it.

And you have it exactly right. The audience picks a winner on each of three nights, then the finals on the last night. There were prizes but they were nothing to get too excited about--just Princess trinkets.

Those in the audience that want to be judges are given ballots. You receive a score of 1-10 in each of three catagories: vocal ability, stage presence and "star" quality. The contestant with the highest score wins.

You can greatly increase your chances of winning by talking the show up to friends you make and getting them to come to the shows.

So practice up, and good luck to you. By the way, I'll be on two cruises after you.

Rick
