I received my docs pack today, and printed out my boarding pass. I love getting that envelope in the mail. Im so excited, and soooo in need of this cruise
We're from sw Florida & the only thing I know about Dekalb, Illinois is that it's cold this time of year - no offence. I can still recall the days of 20 degree weather in Jan & shoveling snow. These days I worry about having to cut my lawn today before leaving on our cruise tomorrow.
Oh its cold alright. We are at a balmy 6 degrees now with a high hot spell of 20 expected later today and expecting a mild chill in the temps tomorrow with a high of 1 to 5 and windchill expected to be -15. If you get tired of the draining comfortable warmth in Florida come join us here in Dekalb for a little cool down just to regulate your body temps . God, I hate the cold oh boy am I looking forward to this 10 day cruise.
I moved to Green Bay Wisconsin so my wife could be close to her family (how does that work anyways?) and Yes... there are reasons we live in such conditions, I haven't determined them yet, but still searching for something good to keep me here.
You deserve this cruise and I hope you have the time of your life!!
We still haven't had to use our heat yet here in sw Florida but we've had a couple of cold nights that a blanket took care of. It only gets cold for 2 or 3 days at a time & then returns back to 75 during the day.
