Cruising on Grand Princess for 2nd time 11/10. Husband wants to visit the ruins. Any suggestions on ship excusion or private one

Use a ship tour. With bad roads, a distance to travel, and vehicles not kept the way we're used to, it's not worth taking a chance to do anything other than a ship tour, even though people will tell you differently. We didn't do the ruins in January when we were there, but many people that I spoke to said the boat ride to get you there was something else, very crowded, with many seasick people. I used to live in RI, and cut through Attleboro to get on 95. Have fun on your cruise.
