actually the OP did post in the "All other Cruise Lines" forum, but the thread was moved here as this is the correct place (see the "Princess, P&O Cruises, Swan Hellenic, Ocean Village and Cunard" description for this sub-forum).
may I ask everybody to please refrain from making discriminatory comments of any kind. While every user is entitled to his / her opinion, there's no need whatsoever to post it here if is related to personal and intimate things such as sex, religion, race etc. Thank you!
Raoul, What I said was meant in jest and was in no way intended to be derogatory - if it was taken that way by anyone on this board, I sincerly apologise. Chuck

Thanks for not removing mine too, I was just trying to help him as there is quite an established G&L section there.
Any plans to add one here?
Sorry if there is already one by the way, only joined yesterday and not had a really good explore yet.
It was nice to read your SS Norway comments here yesterday (i'm very sad) I sent you an e-mail and some photos of her last year and you were very kind in replying and advising me how I could see her in Bremerhaven, I am so sorry now that I was not able to go and see her there for a last time.
I can't believe that such a beautiful and immaculate piece of our history is not protected like they protect (often very ugly) buildings.
I just hope that the QE2 has a more gracious end, we were on her last week and the condition of her hull is quite amazing, mind you they have spent ten times her original build cost on refits and restoration, it should look good!
it's not my forum so it's not my decision whether a G&L board can be established. However, I will ask the owner about his opinion.
As for a separate Cunard board, we don't have that many Cunard postings and in order to keep the number of sub-forums at a level that doesn't confuse users, it has been decided to not have separate forums for most cruise lines. I know that Cruise Critic has, but their forums are much larger and many of our members have told us that they consider the vast number of forums at Cruise Critic confusing and that they rather prefer our forum structure.
But not having a separate Cunard forum certainly doesn't mean this is not a good place to talk about Cunard, of course.
There have been numerous conversations where openly gay and lesbian cruisers have contributed to the conversation (s) and everyone's opinion, review and comments are welcome here.
Since Cruise-Chat.com is about cruise ships and ports, rather than socialization, I don't see any need to operate a separate forum for those in the gay and lesbian community any more than I would for any other groups. After all, we all have something to share from our persoinal experiences that helps the entire community.
Just my opinion.

I am an Administrator - we have six of them, unless I have forgotten somebody.
I must admit that my site has suffered greatly from the fact that my personal situation has changed over the last six months or so. But I'm optimistic that is going to change, again.
Aren't there "gay cruises" for cruising of THAT nature? It is rather a bummer to see PC Police at work. And just when I was enjoying myself. Sigh.
(It's a free country, we have freedom of speech EVERYWHERE about ANY subject. End of subject, I should think.) Oh, well....that is what has become of things....what used to be decent is now indecent and any dissent is indecent! Oh, dear.
