Does anyone know if excursions, if not full, go on sale? Specifically, the Everglade tour from Fort Lauderdale?

I've never heard of that happening. Here are some other things you can check into. The Jungle Queen, take a water taxi ($10/pp per day), or google everglades excurions, they used to offer airboat rides. The Jungle Queen has been in business for years, it takes you to a Seminole indian village and they have a bar-b-que there, plus alligator wrestling. The water taxi will take you through the intracoastal (be sure to go to Shooters-great drinks, good food and Charlie's Crab is just a couple of doors down-great food). If they still have the airboat rides in the Everglades, that is a blast. Best wishes!
