I was thinking of doing the ultimate balcony dining for my upcoming Caribbean cruise. Has anyone done this? How do they logistically serve dinner (ie is the full meal delivered all at once or do the waitstaff come to your room with each new course?)? Did the waitstaff come first with a cocktail and then later with the dinner? What are the menu offerings and was it worth the money? Any insights would be most helpful. Thanks.

I haven't experienced it yet, but I've talked to several who have and they all said it was one of the highlights of the cruise and definitely worth the money. I don't know the exact sequence of events; but doing it while in port seems to be a good idea--less chance of wind. One couple celebrated an anniversary while in Honolulu, at sunset, and they said it was an experience they will never forget.
