Rick- In April, were there many people using the pool? We've only done that trip twice in early December & it wasn't warm enough to actually enjoy it but there were some people (about a dozen or so) using it every day.
In Kona we swam (snuba) last year & it wasn't to bad although a little cool.

RichC, there was nobody in the Lido pool the first and last two days; but the Lotus (covered) pool had a couple of dozen every day. As we got closer to the Islands the Lido pool got buiser.

That's pretty much what I thought for April. We being Florida transplants, any time the water temp drops below 80 degrees my wife won't go near the water.
