I did the same cruise last year in early April; it was cool the first two days out and the last two days back--mid 60's as I remember; by the third day is started warming gradually until we got to the Islands.

Rick- In April, were there many people using the pool? We've only done that trip twice in early December & it wasn't warm enough to actually enjoy it but there were some people (about a dozen or so) using it every day. In Kona we swam (snuba) last year & it wasn't to bad although a little cool. Rich

That's pretty much what I thought for April. We being Florida transplants, any time the water temp drops below 80 degrees my wife won't go near the water.
