We plan to speak with the maitre D as soon as we board, but has anyone had any trouble reserving a table for 12 for every evening in one of the Anytime dining rooms?

I don't think I've ever seen a table for twelve but I'm sure they can give you adjoining tables.
Just curious; if you are all eating at the same time every night wouldn't first or second seating traditional dining actuall have been easier?

From what I've experienced on Princess some of the larger tables for 10 people are oblong shaped & the people stuck at the ends get shortchanged on space. I've been stuck at the end a few time & I would never want it to happen again. You barely get enough room for your plate & can't pull your chair up to the table. It's similar to eating on a plane. Stick with two round tables that will accommodate your whole group.

My recent experience of sitting 12 in the traditional dinning room has been similar to yours. We had four people that needed to sit at the ends, it was difficult to talk and we had terrible service. We were always the last table to be paid attention to and frequently the last table to get out of the dinning room.

On a past cruise on the Spirit we had no problem getting to eat at the same time - 16 that time but we did sit back to back. For all of us that worked out just fine and in some ways it was easier to chat back and forth - table to table.
