has anyone ever had to pay for a fuel surcharge after there cruise has been paid for? Got a thing from travel agent saying our cruise "may be subject to fuel surcharge

Unless your booking was made before November 6, 2007, you will have a fuel surcharge; effective June 12, it goes from $7 pp per day to $9 pp per day.

Yes, I have had to pay a fuel surcharge after the cruise fare had been paid. Not only Princess, but Carnival as well.
