We had Bob Basso on our first cruise to Hawaii & I really enjoyed his lectures. Although he likes to toot his own horn he's very knowledgeable about all aspects of Hawaii. We also went to Hawaii last Dec & didn't really have a lecturer as such but the guy we had wasn't anything like Bob & would put anyone to sleep in a matter of minutes. He could have subbed for an on board hypnotist. Bob has lectures on all sea days going & coming & fills the show lounge each day. I doubt if you'll be disappointed. How did you find out he was aboard you cruise? What sailing are you on?
I read someone review of the cruise from earlier in Feb 08' and they said he was very good---I'm just assuming he will be on the Apr 1st Cruise that I'll be on!
Kevin, lecturers are a bit like entertainers: they move from ship to ship with some frequency. So he may be on your cruise; but he may not. You might try calling Princess to see if they have that information.

I never get much response from dealing with Princess but you could try emailing Bob at http://www.bobbasso.com/ I'm sure they know his schedule for April by now.
