Hi Juliec, Princess will add $10/pp a day to your on board account. If you do not want to pay that, you can go to the Purser's office and ask them to remove it. We normally tip for drinks, room service, and a few other things as well as leave our tips on the account. We then tip at the end of the cruise for those who have gone out of their way for us. This again is on top of the $10/pp per day. The staff is absolutely amazing, at least all the ones we've come in contact with. To me, they just don't get enough. When we consider what the cost of a meal the quality we receive on board and figure out what we would be tipping, what they figure for tips, just isn't enough. Then I think about if I had a maid/butler cleaning up after me two-three times a day and what they would charge for that, I know I couldn't afford it, so I still think they don't charge enough. This is just my opinion, but I'll bet once on board, you'll understand what I mean. Again, it's totally up to you on what you want to tip. I'm doing my doc dance for you. Wave
