I booked the Princess Baltic Cruise on the Crown Princess in August and will be traveling with my wife and 2 teenage children. We have done alot of Royal Caribbean cruises, but never a Princess cruise. Can someone provide me a comparison of the 2 lines regarding luxury, food, service, facilities etc.,?

Hi Erisalaw, welcome to Cruise-Chat. We have cruised on HAL, Royal, NCL, Carnival, Costa, and Princess. So far, Princess is our favorite. You will find the service and cleanliness of the ships to be on par if not a bit better than Royal. To me, and this is just my palette, I think the food is better on Princess. Princess does not have the rock wall or the florider, but it does have the Movies Under the Stars, a great children's program, adult and family pools that are fresh water, the Skywalker Lounge, the international cafe, shops, casino, on board laundry facilities, video arcade, some nice lounges, fitness center, salon, etc. In my opinion the luxury is a step above Royal, but I know Sonny will disagree as Royal is his favorite. I don't think you'll be a bit disappointed in Princess. We've always had exceptional service and the ships have been immaculate. I do hope you enjoy Princess as much as we do, they're our favorite line. I don't work for them, just love cruising with them. Best wishes and once again, welcome aboard!
