Help... Can't seem to find very much information re ports and activities on March cruise around Cape Horn. Starting in Valparaiso, to Puerto Montt (Petrohue river excursion?), Punta Arenas, Usuaia, Falkland Islands, Puerto Madryn, Montevideo and ending in Buenos Aires. Is the penguin reserve better in Puerto Madryn or Punta Arenas? Anyone been to the Tierra del Fuego National Park? Thanks!!! Denise in St. Louis

Did the Rio de Janiero to Santiago cruise this past March on the Mercury. It is a fantastic trip.

I took the excursion to the penguin rookery in Puerto Madryn and it was worth the long drive.

Tierra del Fuego is breathtaking, we took the excursion that took us on a train through part of it.

In Ushuaia, also, you can independently take a lift to a glacier, easy to do on your own, but we didn't have time to do it and our excursion, because we booked our excursion to the park for the afternoon.

Feel free to ask away!
