I don't believe there are any restrictions as far as wearing shorts. Look here for the official USS Arizona Memorial website. Dave

I don't think there are restrictions per se. Just be mindful of the fact that you're visiting a grave site, and there are likely to be WWII veterans visiting that day too, perhaps veterans who were stationed at Pearl Harbor at the time of the attack. Sandy

Dave, Thank you for your years of service to our country. Besides having a dad & uncles who served in WWII, I now have a son who just passed his Air Force physical on Wednesday. He will be a Commissioned Officer in the JAG Corp.

I expect he'll find it isn't like the TV show. I appreciate your son doing this. I'm sure he'll do himself and you proud. Thanks for your kind remarks about my service too. I spent 10 years on active duty - 4 in the Marines and then 6 in the Navy. I wouldn't trade anything for those years. They made me the person I am today. I hate to pick a favorite, but, as Zell Miller said: "Everything You Need to Know I Learned In the Marines". Dave
