I will be travelling on the Star Princess on the 10 night sailing on Dec. 18th. This will be over Christmas.
I was wondering if anyone else has taken a cruise over the holidays and would tell me what to expect. Is it lots of activity or low-key...etc.?

We were on the Golden right before Christmas and the Star right before Easter. The only difference between these cruises and the others we have taken were the decorations in the atrium area. Beautiful Christmas tree and (for Easter) cute bunnies and chicks. The menus were no different and neither were the activies.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure the ship will be beautifully decorated.
I will have 3 teenagers with me... 16, and 2 18 year olds. Do you think that they will be bored? Did you have kids with you and if you did, what did you think of the shore excursions? Anything outstanding?

I was on the ship early December & the decorations were up. Never been at sea for the Holiday Cruise, but, have heard they are great.
Hope you enjoy.
I do not think your teens will be bored at all.
There is so much to do.
