My husband are taking the November 27th cruise on Caribbean Princess. Since this is a new ship, there are not many reviews to read. Anybody experienced this ship yet. Any suggestions or recommendations for cabin assignments. As yet, travel agent only has cabins on hold for our group.

Dear Cruisin, I haven't heard a lot about the ship either. But, I do know that one of the new features on Caribbean Princess is the 300-square-foot LED screen above the center pool area. Supposedly, the screen is designed so that it can even be used during the daytime. "Movies under the Stars" is offered nightly. Each evening, the pool chaises are arranged in rows and covered with special burgundy covers. A table is placed between every two lounges. Free popcorn is available, and the pizza and hamburger grills are open at the back of the pool area. I happened to be staying in Fort Lauderdale the day this ship pulled into port for the first time and you could see the LED screen lit-up for quite some distance. It looked awesome!! Please report back to the board upon your return - I would love to hear more about this. Nancy
Joanie and I were on the Regatta last year and they had the same feature. It was awesome! The movie was OK, but hanging out in the balmy evening in a lounge chair was really cool.
I better sign up for the Caribbean Princess.
Tom
