We are thinking about taking a cruise either from Southampton over the Atlantic to the Caribbean and flying back or flying out and cruising back. This would mean 7 days at sea in the month of March. Anyone know what the conditions would be like in The Atlantic at this time. Many thanks

Hi Trixibell and welcome to the site me and my husband last April flew out to Barbados and cruised to Palma the Atlantic was quite rough and this was at the end of April though it was still a relaxing cruise but they did close the pool and such hope this helps.

Thanks Juliec. Your comments are noted! I don't like the thought of rough seas!!
You will probably realise that my husband and I are deciding on our first cruise and thought the Caribbean would be wonderful but there is so much to choose from!! Mind boggling! Guess it would be better to fly out and fly home.Just need to decide on what line, what ship and what cruise... decisions, decisions.

The past two years my partner and I have done transatlantics cruises from Florida to the mediterranean, leaving the middle of April. Both cruises were sunny, warm and calm.
