Does anyone know why the Coral Princess and the Island Princess will be sailing virtually the exact same 10-day Panama Canal itinerary? Is it due to the popularity of these particular ports, or are ther other factors that determine how and why a company assigns its routes? It would seem to me that Princess would benefit more from having two different 10-day cruises, even if both included the partial canal transit, so that the people who travel for the sake of port destinations would want to sail both ships. What am I missing here? (Sorry if this topic has already been discussed
