any opinions on sailing a new ship?

we have a choice between island's 1st or 2nd alaska itinerary or coral's itinerary. we would save about $300/person & there's 4 of us.

(i think it will be island's 3rd or 4th scheduled sailing, since she will start in florida & come through the canal)

after reading about coral's delays, i'm a little hesitant & feel like i'm gambling by choosing the island princess.

Just returned from Coral Princess, inaugural voyage to Canal.

No worries, she is fantastic and the newness of it makes it extra special. She is just glowing.

While I have always wanted to do an inaugural, I hesitate doing so. My suggestion is go with the Coral, as it's getting rave reviews from all sources. I can't wait to get on her myself. Happy sailing. I understand that the ships are filling very fast, so would suggest you get to travel agent ASAP.
