Hi folks, my fiancee and I are getting married in June 06 and we've decided to take a Mediterranean and Greek Isle cruise for our honeymoon. I've been reviewing all cruise lines and we really liked the 12 day itinerary for Princess (Golden Princess). What is the average age group we can expect on this cruise? We are in our late 20's, we would like a nice romantic atmosphere but at the same time we want to have fun. Is Princess a good option? Would you recommend any other cruise line? It will be our first cruise so any help would be appreciated. By the way, if we decide on Princess we would probably get the private balcony, do you guys think it's worth the extra money?
Thanks in advance.

Valdy,
Congratulations on your upcoming marriage.
I am booked on the Grand for the same cruise July 3, 2006. Cannot wait.
I have cruised only with Princess since 1996.
Taking 2-3 cruises per year.

The age range on a Princess cruise can vary greatly. From younger couples your age to older, retired & then small children.
Generally, the longer the cruise, the older the passengers.
Just returned from doing the Baltic (on the Star) & there were loads of children on board.

As far as the romantic atmosphere, you'll have it for sure. How much better than Venice can you get???
The balcony is an absolute must for this cruise.

There is always so much to see & do on a cruise. OR have private honeymoon time.

Good Luck with your planning.

Cathy

In my opinion, balconies are always worth the extra money, especially on a honeymoon! Congratulations! Smile
