This is our first time going to Alaska on Island Princess. It is a 7-day cruise. Then we go inland to Mt. McKinley Lodge. After that, we are traveling by train and the tour specifies that we have a small carry-on only which fits under the seat in the train. I'm confused about the destination of the rest of my luggage. Will I get to access my luggage at Denali Wilderness Lodge when we stop for the night? Or will the luggage go straight on to Fairbanks? It matters what I have to pack in my 22"X 14" X 9" carry-on. I believe your luggage will be with you in the luggage compartment of the rail car. They will limit the amount of luggage actually in the cabin because of the limited space and for passenger comfort.

Your trip sounds wonderful.

Have a great cruise/tour.
