We haven't personally, but a friend of mine did. She absolutely loved it, she had a balcony and said it was one of the best cruises she had been on. She said she had room service and watched from her balcony as they went through the locks. They took it from LA to Ft. Lauderdale when they were repositioning the ship. Best Wishes and have a wonderful cruise!!

Hey Tex,
I did a Panama Canal crossing in '98 on a HAL and LOVED IT! When I wasn't on my veranda, I was on deck or in the Crow's Nest. Going thru the locks on the Pacific side we were alongside a Crystal ship - we were all waving at each other and looking into each other's suites and toasting each other with Bloody Marys (it was morning!). ThumbUp
I would do it again in a heart beat.

I did the Suez a couple of years ago and although it was interesting (from a military sense) it wasn't as beautiful.

Scheduled to do the Corinth Canal next year on Seabourn - something I've wanted to do for some time!

Tex, we have made two cruises on the Coral and have another one booked for Dec. 12th. You can read our review on our cruisereviews website.

http://www.tomandmaryscruisereviews.com/

In our estimation it is the most beautiful ship of the Princess fleet with an outstanding crew. It was one of the best our 36 cruises.

Warm regards,

Penny, maybe you can help me? I went to the CaribbeanMag.com site to check on how to get a counter but I don't understand how it works. When I finish a counter how do I incorporate it in my Cruise-Chat profile. I am very weak in computer know how, so if you can, please spell it out for me.

Warm regards,

Chuck, Mary & I have our review page on Cruise Reviews.com I would appreciate if you could tell me how to put a counter on our Cruise-Chat posts and replies.

I joined CaribbeanMag.com but am lost on their site. How do I go about setting up a counter and then bringing it over to Cruise-Chat. I am not very computer wise, so if you can, please spell it out for me.

Warm regards,
Tom & Mary

1. go to the caribbeanmag.com site
2. pick out the countdown ticker you want
3. add your own comments
4. copy the "html" code that starts with "<a>" and then go to your My Space
5. Edit
6. paste the code you copied into the box just below your avatar
7. that should work
8. drop me a note if you're still having problems Wink

Hey Tex,
It's all that other "stuff" (Crown Viking 1992 Enchantment of the Seas Dec. 2004) you have in your signature - either move them around (above or below your new goodie) or delete them. Also, you see the underlined "Caribbean All Inclusive Resorts"2006? That is a link that was automatically included in your ticker. You can get rid of that thing also. Look in your "my space" signature block and look for "[URL=http://www.caribbeanmag.com/member/]Caribbean Member Community"- it'll be at the bottom - (there is also a [url in the beginning and a /url] at the end - erase all that code.

Tex,

My friend and I did the Panama Canal from Ft. Lauderdale to SF, 21 days on the Coral last year. We booked a suite.

It was great although the average age was 82. We're 2 single ladies 31 yrs old so we hung out with the crew mostly. We loved the ports, the whole trip was just relaxing. Enjoy, have fun. Let me know if you have specific questions.

I just returned from a repostioning cruise on the Sun Princess from Seattle to Port Everglades. It was great. Expect very warm and humid weather. We had a balcony and I not would not want anything less. All the decks were crammed with people. Gatun Lake is wonderful. By being on my own balcony I could hear the birds and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Yes, the passengers were on the older side (I never saw so many walkers and electric wheel chairs) but that left the lounges availabe in the evening.

We cruised on the Coral Princess from Vancouver to Ft. Lauderdale Sept. 25 to Oct. 13 2006, our eighth with Princess. Great ship and we had a terrific 15 days. There may always be a few bumps along the way, but we've never had a bad cruise, eleven in all.
